Someone's got a single track mind.
Not talking about Timmy.

Good to know that Timmy III isn't entirely oblivious regarding why Maerc shows so much interest in ToyCo...
The talent Timmy III is talking about is Lena Santorini, the woman in the middle panel.
former classmate Kanny Bougainville
as well as
can provide you with some biographical tidbits about her.
And... it seems that she has a crush on her boss...?

You know Google opened a public program that you can download and create a game with Blender and Google Maps integration? With VR ToyCo, it's the future!

I am currently trying a bit to get the hang of Blender...
Anyway, one of the first things that always come to
mind regarding this concept is Pokemon Go...

Yes, Pokemon Go is the inspiration, since it gets people moving around in their environment.
But here's this: pay small fees to ToyCo to set up "dungeons" or "quests" in your wood lot or municipal park. Pay small fees to ToyCo for your restaurant or bar to be a tavern where experience or quests can be obtained. Pay small fees to ToyCo for items out of your clothing shop to count for higher armor values... you get the point, why settle for
games when you can
games? Who wouldn't want to make their wages as an armorer for paladins and rogues?

The world is going to end the way it always would: one microtransaction at a time.
Man, I know some "hometown" companies that need to step up their game...

Ah, that's would be a cool idea for a real game :) (with a hell of server to support this, but a big company could do that without sweat... much XD)

I bet the next Nintendo innovation is something with VR and Pokemon XD they can be small, but they're innovative.

Pokemon Go's concept and early roll out blew my mind, and I could care less about Pokemon than just about anyone you know.

I think Lena's eyes are just LIKE that.
Almost every panel I've seen her in (as I have just spent the past few days binge-reading Cryptida), she has that
"I could simply devour you in one bloody bite if the mood strikes me" look about her.
I think it's more predatory (in the visceral sense) than being smitten.

I'll take it as a compliment that I was actually able multiple times to draw Lena's face so that it conveys something like that! :-D
Also, when I wrote that comment about the crush, I didn't know yet where lirv was going with this story.
It then turned out that Lena didn't proceed to have much of a role on it - which let me to wonder
where she was
during the following events...
