I like how in the last panel the crop makes Tona's double lightning bolts (already a questionable Nazi and SS associated symbol) look like the Nazi Swastika. That's barely even slightly subtle, if that, but it fits so much of what Tona was doing and her working environment disgustingly well.
Perhaps Tona shows so much interest in buying car batteries because this certain person she is working for ordered her to do something to support the American automobile industry...
Her last crossover with Autumn Bay laid the city in debris. What will happen with our family-friendly and cute Cryptida? o__O Please, don't do anything super nasty. I have clean and pure memories of this series, like a beloved and innocent cartoon ;____;
Honestly, some of the later pages did indeed make me flinch a bit...
And I very much appreciate that you think of my comic as family friendly and cute! :-)
(I do go to dark places on occasion, but I guess it's more via implications rather than being explicit with it. For example, my WWII chapter had an allusion to the friggin' Holocaust!)
But in my defense, I hope that when you later read Bettina's impassioned plea to her people it is clear that despite its (many) problems ToyCo's heart is in the right place.
