@ Lirv: I was half assuming you were breaking your "daily update" streak due to this Thanksgiving thing you Americans tend to do, being around the corner...
And yes, Wildebees' gun is sufficiently big-ass and badass!
Confusing, and convincingly ugly brawling. Maybe it's a tiny, little bit too confusing.
-Is that Wendell or someone else getting elbowed in panel 1?
-Is that someone picking someone else's holster in panel 2?
-In panel 1 Wildebees seems to still be upright, did someone knock her down or did she intentionally fall by panel 3?
-Wildebees is in the middle of getting gangbeat, where did she find the time and focus open her holster, draw and point her sidearm?
-Did the goon squad really show up to try to "arrest Bettina Timmy," right in the middle of the street where people and cameras could see it? That seems... politically risky without a warrant.
-If so, did anybody chase her when she ran?
-So far including Wendell himself we've seen four distinct MSV goons in this brawl with Wildebees. Is there more than one car of these guys at work?
Let me try my hand at helping you read this situation, AC (long time no correspond).
1) That seems to be someone else getting elbowed. Wendell seems to be the one saying "Fuck it".
2) That seems to be Wendell reaching for his piece.
3) I'm guessing she wasn't fully upright in 1, and has fallen back by 3 (for a wonderful Woo-esque moment).
4) Wendell is busy speechifying and pulling his piece, Baldy seems distracted, and we don't currently see the other guy (see below).
5) That does seem to be the case. Also remember, this is the same team that, in the future, launches a full on invasion on the streets of this same city...
6) We didn't see anyone chasing Bettina. They seem to have had their hands full with Wildebees.
7) I count three in going back over the pages. They all seemed to come from the same car.
Thanks for the effort, and hope you've been doing well.
I was pretty sure the guy in the first panel was a different MSV thug from Wendell, to bring the count up to four, because that looked like a guy with a mustache. You're probably right, guessing by the fact that these people are dressing up as 'evil, anonymized, intimidating, suited thugs' with the sunglasses, and only Wendell has lost his so far.
Oh, no question: "Bloodstache" is high on the list of potential names for punk bands, and you have to worry about the cultural deprivation of anybody who doesn't appreciate that.
MR, hope you like the appearance of Wildebees's big-ass 45 ACP!
